My name is Miss Stephanie Gatt and I am delighted to have the opportunity to welcome your child to Y3SG for the new academic year at SCS.
I am from a tiny town in Scotland and have lived in Dubai since 2014. Whilst in Dubai I have been overjoyed to meet people from many different cultures. One of my highlights of the year is International Day, I love the costumes and exciting parades! Previously I have lived in Spain and Italy as I love to learn new languages and visit new places. During my weekends in Dubai I love to explore new places, I particularly enjoy hiking in the mountains in the surrounding emirates. In my spare time I enjoy travelling the world with my family and friends and running in the countryside. I love animals and can often be found going on long walks with my dog Lola in my home country of Scotland.
In 2014 I graduated from Liverpool Hope University with my PGCE in primary and Spanish teaching. I joined Safa Community School in 2019 and I am extremely proud to be purple. I strive to ensure that all children feel welcome, safe and happy. I am excited to be continuing my role as Head of Year 3. My aim as a teacher is to foster creativity and curiosity in the classroom where children feel confident to take learning risks. I look forward to meeting you all and beginning our journey in 3SG together.
