I am very excited to be continuing in Year 1. I also have experience working in FS2 and love teaching younger children. They are always so eager to learn and explore.
I am married with two children, Izzy and Georgia. I love spending time with my family and enjoy cooking, gyming and reading.
I have been teaching in the UAE since 2010 and I have loved living and working here as I have had the opportunity to travel, try new things and meet people from many different parts of the world. I am from Ireland and I love visiting there every summer, spending time with family in the beautiful countryside and by the beaches.
I graduated in 2006 with a B.Ed in Primary Education with Maths. My first teaching post was in FS2 before taking a year out to travel the world. This gave me a taste of International life and I moved to the UAE gaining experience in both FS2 and Year 1. This year I am looking forward to continuing my Year 1 journey, providing a safe environment where children can explore, investigate and work together to achieve goals. I love to see our little learners grow in confidence and independence throughout the year and I enjoy providing fun, active lessons which provide them with the opportunities to shine.
