I am from County Mayo on the west coast of Ireland. I graduated from St. Patrick’s College Drumcondra in 2011 where I was awarded a Bachelor of Education Degree.
I have lived in the UAE for 6 years. During this time, I have had the opportunity to travel to many amazing countries and meet lots of wonderful people from all over the world. In addition to travel, another great passion of mine is Music. In my spare time I can be heard singing and playing the violin or piano. I am also an avid sports-person and love to keep fit by running and playing Gaelic football.
I am so proud to be part of the Safa family and I am thrilled to welcome your child into Y1SG .
I am excited to be starting my third year of teaching at Safa Community school and my tenth year of teaching overall. I have taught a range of Year groups over the course of my teaching career, in Dublin, Abu Dhabi and Dubai. My passion truly lies in teaching younger children, as it provides me with the opportunity to experience and share in the awe, wonder and magic with our fantastic little learners. The love I have for teaching and the warm and welcoming rapport I have with the children ensures that the learning environment in my classroom is always one of positivity and inclusivity. I am looking forward to a year full of exciting learning, fun and adventure and cannot wait to meet you all!
