I am so happy to be welcoming your child into 2SE for the academic year 2022-2023 at SCS.
I am from England, but have lived in Dubai for 7 years. I have 3 young children of my own, who also attend Safa. I graduated from Southampton University in 2008 after completing a Psychology degree, followed by a PostGraduate Certificate in Education.
My family and I love living in Dubai. We spend our time at the pool, beach, parks and camping in the desert (when it’s not too hot!). I love jogging and keeping fit and have taken part in races and fitness challenges across Dubai. Being a parent and a teacher at Safa has been such a rewarding experience for me so far. I am very excited to be part of the next chapter of your children’s lives.
I am excited to begin my third year teaching at Safa Community School. Previous to teaching in Dubai I was Assistant Head Teacher in a school in England, where I had been teaching for 7 years, before making the excellent decision to move to Dubai. My main aim as a Teacher is to ensure my students are happy, confident, resilient and proactive learners, not afraid to take risks in their learning. I look forward to spending the next academic year getting to know your children and watching them fulfill their potential.
