My name is Ruth Kathleen Gamboa and I am extremely excited and delighted to be part of SFC family. As a school nurse, I will be combining the role of an healthcare provider and health educator. I am responsible in providing direct healthcare to students and staffs and at the same time providing health education to the whole school community in promoting health and well being.
I am originally from the Philippines and been here in the UAE since 2016. Working in Dubai has offered me with lots of adventures and learning from the diversity of the people that surrounded me. I am a proud mum of twins that keep me busy whenever I’m not at school. We love reading books together.
I am a licensed registered nurse under Philippine Regulation Commission as well as under Dubai Health Authority. I have been working in school setting for a total of 10 years now in which 6 years of it were in a university in the Philippines then 4 years here in Dubai. I also have almost 2 years clinical experience in one of the hospital in Abu Dhabi where I have been assigned to Out Patient Department and Urgent Care Centre.
