Hello! My name is Roisin Walshe and I am delighted to be a part of the inclusion team this year. I am exceptionally excited to be starting my fifth year at SCS. I have been living in Dubai for ten years, in which time I have had lots of opportunities to experience new and exciting challenges as well as traveling to places I have always wanted to visit.
I have a keen interest in art, music and sport and have been involved in team sports from a young age. My friends would describe me as kind, thoughtful and funny. In my personal time I regularly enjoy drawing, completing upcycling projects, and taking part in team activities. My aim as a teacher is to create a learning environment in which pupils are critical thinkers and where children feel safe to ask questions to deepen their understanding.
Over the past ten years, I have been teaching across Year 1 to Year 4. I have had the delight of teaching in three diverse schools where I have met families from many different cultures. I am very dedicated and committed to enabling every child who I am fortunate enough to teach to have the best possible learning experience. I am thrilled to be in the inclusion department this year and cannot wait to support you on your new journey.
