My name is Rebecca Williams and I am currently Head of Year 8 & Secondary Drama Teacher.
I am a British trained Performing Arts teacher specialising in Drama. I have 12 years teaching experience in the UK, New Zealand and Dubai. I have experience of working with students across the Key Stages from 11-18 years old.My role as Year Leader here at Safa is a great opportunity to work alongside our Year 8 students. I am here to support, guide and advise students as they start their journey at Secondary.
I have taught at Safa Community School for the past four years, joining in 2018. Previous to this I was Head of Drama at a school in South Wales. I have experience of teaching GCSE, A Level Drama and BTEC Performing Arts as well as running a number of School productions. My main passion for the Performing Arts is acting and I have experience of performing at a number of theatres in the South Wales area. The ECA’s I offer at Safa reflect this as I run a weekly acting workshop for KS4 students and a Drama club for KS3 students. I also co-ordinate the Performing Arts Evenings and Whole Secondary School Productions alongside the Music and Dance team.
