I am from Burnley in England, UK. I graduated from Liverpool University, where I was awarded my Postgraduate Certificate of Education. I have also obtained a Bachelors of Honours Degree in Leisure and Sports Development.
As a gymnastics coach, I am passionate about having a healthy body and mind, which builds our resilience and social skills. At the weekend I like exploring the UAE and enjoy trying new activities, such as paddle boarding, hiking and yoga. I also have a love for travelling and I like exploring new countries.
I am thrilled to be welcoming your child into FS2RC this Academic Year and I am proud to be part of the Safa Family.
I am very excited to be starting my third year of teaching in FS2, at Safa Community School. This will be my eighth year teaching in the Early Years. Prior to moving to Dubai, I taught in England for four years and Egypt for one year. I am the FS Literacy Coordinator, which is a subject I am very passionate about teaching. I am a lifelong learner and strive to create a high-quality, adaptable learning environment, where all children feel secure and happy. I cannot wait to get to know you all and embark on our amazing learning journey together, where we will be active learners, take risks and most of all have lots of fun!
