At Safa, I lead Inclusion across the whole school. I qualified in the UK as a Primary teacher and worked in KS1 and 2 before training as a SENDCO.
I am a qualified Educational Assessor and am a member of the British Psychological Society. I have recently qualified as a specialist dyslexia teacher and am a member of the Dyslexia Guild. I love to travel and have an interest in geological landforms, so I enjoy visiting interesting places and researching and trying to figure out the underlying geology.
Nine year ago I moved to Dubai and joined the Safa family at Safa British School, before moving to SCS when it opened in 2014. I am passionate about working with children that experience difficulties, identifying their barriers to learning and working with their parents and teaching team to support them to overcome their challenges and find their niche.
I have qualified as an Educational Assessor and am a member of the British Psychological Society. I am currently training to become a Specialist Teacher and Dyslexia Assessor so that I can teach, assess and identify specific learning difficulties. I love to travel and have an interest in geological landforms, so I enjoy visiting interesting places and researching and trying to figure out the underlying geology.
