Born in Jordan, raised and studied in Syria the lovely county with its Mediterranean weather. I taught for 2 years in Syria and I have spent 11 years teaching in Dubai. This is my sixth year at SCS it is a real pleasure to work with the talented teachers at SCS to provide the best possible learning experience alongside fun interactive activities for all in this happy school. As well as enjoying teaching, I have also enjoyed a lovely time with my family (3 kids) and friends in the green and desert areas around UAE When it is cool.
Outside of teaching, I have a keen interest in reading Arabic poetry and novels also I enjoy sports especially football and hors riding. In addition to this I have a great passion for child happiness and protection. This has led me to participate in volunteer projects around the world including, Syria, Jordan and UAE.
Since graduating with a bachelor’s degree in English Language Literature and its Arts from Aleppo University, I have taught in different schools in Syria and the UAE to learners from different cultural backgrounds, age and groups. I have taught English language as a SL for KS2 & KS3 in Syria then I moved to Dubai in 2011 and start a new challenge as an English language teacher for 3 years. After that I have earned KHDA approval and EDUCATIONAL PROFESSION LICENSE to start teaching Arabic B (for non- native speakers) in British schools since 2014 up till now.
