I am very excited to welcome your child to 6MC for the new academic year at SCS.
I graduated from Manchester University, UK in 2012, where I studied a BA Hons in Primary Education and Teaching. I have lived in Dubai since 2014 and have been part of the Safa family since 2016. Whilst living in Dubai, I have had the opportunity to travel to some fantastic destinations and meet people from all over the world.
In my spare time I really enjoy keeping fit and regularly go to the gym. I enjoy going for long walks, hiking, reading and have a passion for brush calligraphy.
Prior to moving to Dubai I was a competitive Irish Dancer for 20 years and have competed all around the world as an individual and as a team. I have also been lucky enough to have travelled with dance troupes around Europe and perform in front of thousands of people.
I have been lucky enough to teach children from FS to year 6 throughout my career so far, which has enabled me to have an insight into every year group. Before moving to Dubai I taught in Manchester and I am currently Head of mathematics at SCS. I believe in providing the children with tools to become independent, lifelong learners in a safe and engaging learning environment. I look forward to meeting everyone in September and I cannot wait to begin a wonderful learning journey with 6MC!
