Hello everyone! I am very excited about meeting you all and welcoming you into the wonderful family of Safa learners. I can’t wait to see all the little smiles and to get to know you all!
I come from a small town on the west coast of Sweden. Growing up in the north, I always dreamt about living in a warm place where the sun always shines. Dubai seemed to be the perfect place. I moved to Dubai in 2008 and joined SCS in 2019.
When I am not at school, I enjoy all water sports, yoga and spending time with my family and friends.
I am looking forward to a great year ahead, full of happy learning opportunities and excitement!
I have been teaching for nearly 20 years, mostly in the Foundation stage. I completed my PGCE in Primary Education in 2003 at Middlesex University, London. After graduating, I worked as a Year 1 teacher at an inner London school before moving to Dubai in 2008. I have worked as an FS2 teacher for 12 years and I joined SAFA in 2019 as an FS1 Flexi teacher. I am passionate about Early Years education and I strive to create an inspiring classroom environment where children can grow, stay curious and become lifelong learners. I am a very strong advocate of inclusion and ensuring that all children feel safe and loved. I can’t wait to meet you all!
