Lisa Miller

I have been teaching English for over fifteen years, several of which have been at Safa Community School. I am originally from Ireland and graduated from University College Cork in 2007.

About Me

I have taught in Ireland, France, England and Dubai, therefore I am familiar with a variety of curriculums. Here at Safa, I teach all secondary Key Stages.

As an English teacher, I hope to instill my love of literature by encouraging students to read a range of genres widely and frequently.

In my free time, I enjoy travelling, running and reading.

My Experience

I joined Safa in 2016 and I am very excited to begin another academic year here in my role as an English teacher. In my previous roles in Dubai and London, I acted as Head of the English Department, Second in Department and mentor to NQT teachers. At Safa Community School, I offer English ECAs with a particular emphasis on exam practice for students of English Language and Literature.
