I am very grateful to have been a part of the Safa family since 2018 and expanding my professional development ever since.

About Me

I am from Belgium and in 2014 I moved to Dubai as a family of 4 after living in Oman for 4 years. I started my journey in Safa in 2017, as an LSA supporting students of determination in KS1. In 2018 I joined the Inclusion team as a SEND TA in KS2.

I am very grateful being able to work every day with children from different cultures and nationalities. I enjoy supporting them wherever needed, identifying their barriers to learning and exploring their strengths together for them to be successful.

In my free time I am kept busy with my family, where I enjoy watching them participating in different sports.

My Experience

I qualified as a special needs educator (BA), in Belgium. I gained experience by volunteering in a special needs school in KS1, assisting in a youth center for rehabilitation and supporting in a special needs center for adults with physical and mental disabilities. I have worked in a nursery setting as a supply teacher in Oman and Dubai, to widen my experience. In the future I want to expand my knowledge in behavioural strategies and Dyslexia.
