I am thrilled to welcome your child to Year 3 at SCS. Whilst studying Sports and Exercise Science at the University of Essex in the UK, I also enjoyed volunteering to support and mentor children, who needed extra help in unlocking their potential, across schools in London. This led to my first role after graduation; I worked for a charity which reintegrated children back into mainstream schools. This is what initially inspired me to begin my teacher training.
Aside from working with children, I enjoy living an active lifestyle; I enjoy regular hiking (when the weather is cooler!) as well as playing football each week. Living in Dubai has allowed me to travel to many countries and one of my favourite countries was Japan. I enjoyed the anime and manga I was able to see there as I also love to sketch and draw Japanese manga style art. One day, I would love to write and release my own comic book!
I am now in my 5th year of primary school teaching and love it! Each class that I have taught has taught me something new and given me many memorable moments. I began teaching in a primary school in London in Year 2 and then in Year 6. I have been teaching in a British curriculum school in Mirdif, Dubai for the past 2 years where I have been in Year 3 and Year 4. I pride myself on a patient style of teaching where I involve children in all aspects of their learning; children who are involved in their learning will grow to their fullest potential and have fun along the way!
