Hello everyone, I am excited to start a new school year and welcome everybody to FS1JT. I cannot wait to see your wonderful happy faces and meet you all.
I come from a small country town in Australia called Bundaberg. We have very hot summers and luckily not too cold winters. It never snows where I am from.
I moved to the UAE in 2007 and joined Safa Community school in 2018. When I am not in school I enjoy playing touch rugby and netball and going to the beach and pool. I look forward to seeing you all very soon and starting our new adventure together.
I graduated from Central Queensland University in 2001 with a Bachelor of Education, in Early Childhood. During my career I have taught children from 2 years to 12 years but my passion lies with the younger children. I have been teaching since 2000 and have taught in Australia, America and the UAE. Since 2015 I am teaching FS1 students. I enjoy teaching FS1 because our days are always filled with laughter and singing. It is important to me to provide a safe, caring and fun learning environment that supports all of our little learners to reach their full potential.
