My name is Jemma Hudson and I am from a small village in the North East of Scotland. I moved to Dubai many years ago and love the different people, places and experiences that we have living here. My family is extremely important to me and I have two young boys that keep me busy when I am not at school. We enjoy being active, as well as reading.
Building relationships and bringing a sense of belonging to Safa is key for me and our open door policy means that we are always here to support staff, parents and students. I am proud to be part of the Safa family.
Education and teaching are passions for me and from an early age I knew I wanted to be a teacher. I studied in Aberdeen, Scotland and have a degree in Primary Education. Prior to joining SCS in 20118, I have experience working across all ages and stages from Foundation Stage to Year 6. I have experience holding a wide range of leadership roles which have enabled me to build knowledge in all areas of education. I hold a strong belief in the importance of students being treated as individuals and bringing out the best in them. I always strive to extend myself to ensure that our students gain the best experiences and opportunities. In order to continue to develop myself as a leader, I have recently completed my National Professional Qualification for Headship (NPQH) from the Centre for Educational Leadership (UCL) and am ready for my next project.
