This year, I feel extremely privileged to join the Safa family and to welcome your child into 1JK. We are going to have the most wonderful and fun-filled year of learning!
From a very young age I began teaching dance and this is where my passion began. Since graduating, I have been fortunate enough to teach abroad and to gain lots of rich experiences in schools located in Australia, London and now Dubai. This will be my third year of teaching in Dubai and I feel very grateful for all of the opportunities I have been given and for the special children I have met along the way. While teaching abroad, I have been able to explore the world as much as I can and to immerse myself into different cultures, taking in new experiences wherever possible. My most recent trip was quite memorable, as I was able to volunteer in a school in Kenya over the holiday period. It was a life-changing experience and it taught me so much. I enjoy dancing, going to the gym, travelling and living a very active lifestyle.
I completed a Bachelor of Education in 2015 at Victoria University in Melbourne and since then I have developed as a professional, to embed a love of learning in different children across the world. Before relocating to the UAE, I had the opportunity to work in an outstanding school in London where I taught for three years. Since moving to the UAE in 2018, I have been an FS2 teacher, SEN teacher and in this academic year I moved up with my class to Year 1 and took on the role of Team Leader to ensure that the children had a successful and enjoyable transition through provisional play. Through practical activities, collaborative learning, and humour I hope to encourage creativity and curiosity within each of your children. With my positive attitude to life and energetic personality, I aim to create a happy, nurturing, and engaging classroom to inspire each child to become lifelong learners.
