I have been at Safa Community School working part time since 2018 and our twins have been here since joining FS1 in 2015.
I’ve always loved reading and was a volunteer at The Old Library for several years, initially in MoE and now in the Gold and Diamond Park. This was founded in 1970 so is actually 1 year older than the UAE itself!
I have lived in Dubai since 1995, initially buying aircraft for a local airline then based here but working for a British airline as the Accident Investigator & Airport Inspector for Middle East, Asia and Australia. It’s great to now be part of the school community, to share a love of reading and help the children explore new authors, titles and generally have fun with books.
