My name is Faisal Ali and I am from London, England. I have been teaching for 14 years and I am very excited to be part of Safa Community School teaching computer science.
In my spare time, I enjoy various sporting activities, including football, basketball and boxercise. I also love to travel to explore different cultures and foods. Highlights include Hawaii, Peru, Malaysia and the Philippines.
Over the course of my career, I have gained a range of teaching experiences in the UK and the Middle East. These have included working in Ofsted-rated outstanding mainstream schools teaching ICT, transitioning the curriculum from ICT to Computer Science, working in a hospital school, and teaching students in Bahrain and Ras Al Khaimah, UAE. I hope to utilise my skills and experiences to help students become independent learners and develop their problem-solving abilities.
