I am from Athens, Greece. Since joining Safa Community School a couple of years ago, I have received a warm welcome from staff and families and together we have built a lovely class community for our wonderful children.

About Me

I am half Greek, half Italian and have lived and taught in Dubai for the past 7 years. Prior to moving to Dubai, I lived and studied in the UK for nine years, gaining an Undergraduate and Masters degree in Psychology and then completing my teaching qualification. Outside of teaching, I enjoy sports, such as tennis, squash, padel tennis and basketball; I have developed a love for hiking whilst living here. I enjoy being close to the water and reading a good book on human psychology or education.

My Experience

My teaching career started at a Special Educational Needs school in London where I was employed as a TA and a teacher was required so I was offered the role. The following year, I went on to receive my teaching qualification and have never looked back. Every year my aim is to have a happy, confident, kind, compassionate and independent class with good language skills. In this ever changing world, I want to develop aspirational and adaptable students that are equipped with not only academic intelligence but also emotional and social intelligence. My strong background with children with SEND has helped me develop a very inclusive classroom. I look forward to welcoming your child and creating our own little family.
