I graduated from Durham University with a BA in Spanish, Italian and Mathematics. I had several years working in marketing before realising that I wanted to be a primary school teacher and so I did my PostGraduate Certificate in Education at Roehampton University in 2008. It was a great decision and I have never looked back!
I came to Dubai four years ago with my husband and twins Isabella and Edward, who will be in Year 1 at Safa this year. Outside of school, I can be found enjoying family trips to the beach and the desert.
I am so excited about the forthcoming year and cannot wait to meet you all!
This will be my third year teaching in Year 3 at Safa, and before this I taught in London, UK. I have over a decade of teaching mainly Years 1-3 at schools ranging from a community school to one of the top private schools in London. My main aim is to ensure my class are happy, confident and enthusiastic learners who are keen to take calculated risks in a safe and nurturing environment. This way, they are inspired to take ownership of their learning and feel proactive about challenging themselves. I look forward to spending the next academic year getting to know your child and helping them fulfil their personal potential.
