I am privileged to have the opportunity to welcome your child to 5DW for the new academic year at SCS. I graduated from Chester University, UK where I studied a BA Hons in Primary Education and Teaching.
I have lived in Dubai since 2016 and have been part of the Safa family since 2018. Outside of teaching I am a triathlete who competes in Ironman races and Ironman 70.3 races. I have been incredibly lucky to have raced in various locations around the World and recently qualified for the Ironman 70.3 World Championships in Lahti, FInland. Along with my passion for triathlon and training for each discipline I have a strong love for coffee, food and reading books about cycling. I enjoy travelling, visiting new countries and experiencing different cultures.
As a teacher I strive to create a classroom which is fun, supportive and engaging for the children. I like to create memorable learning opportunities, as well as enabling children to develop their independence and creativity. I encourage children to express themselves individually and take risks with their learning. In my classroom we always support one another and work as a team. I cannot wait to start our wonderful learning journey together in Year 5.
