I was born and grew up in Rome, the capital of Italy. I was very fortunate to live in the heart of the city so I could enjoy what Rome offers in terms of culture, architecture, food and entertainment.
Italy has a very lively culinary culture which means that most people learn to cook at home. I love fine cuisine and I discovered my passion for preparing some delicious food for my family and friends.
I love travelling so much that I have been to over 40 countries! I wanted to be a language teacher because I love communication, and I want the new generation to learn about diverse cultures while developing a love of learning languages. Above all, working with young people is what I like most about teaching.
The atmosphere in Safa Community School is fun and nurturing; this is what attracts me to this amazing school. I really enjoy developing positive relationships with students while observing how they improve and progress in their language learning journey.
I have taught for more than 9 years in Dubai and I absolutely love it.
In 2012, I graduated from Roma Tre University with a Masters Degree in Foreign Languages and Literatures (Spanish and French). After qualification, I moved to the UAE to teach Spanish and Italian to students of all levels and group ages. I was appointed Head of department in a Language Institute where I did my best to ensure the highest levels of student satisfaction. My role included promoting the institute throughout the community by participating in radio interviews and hosting social events where connected language learners of all ages with diverse background.
In 2017, I was presented a wonderful opportunity to join Safa Community School to teach Spanish. I enjoy using best practice teaching methods along with implementing new technologies and teaching strategies to engage students and diversify approaches to teaching and learning. In my role as the Head of MFL in Primary I take pride in sharing my teaching experiences with my team of dedicated teachers. My aim is that all students become confident, adaptable, and engaged world citizens through their awareness and continual learning about other cultures and languages.
