Hello everyone! I cannot wait to meet all of your children and welcome them into 6DH. I was born and raised just outside of London in a place called Surrey. Ever since graduating from St Mary’s University in Twickenham, United Kingdom, I have been a full time Primary School Teacher.
Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to work in a range of year groups and curriculums in the UK and Dubai.
As a teacher, I pride myself on creating an enjoyable and exciting environment in which everyone can learn. Integration of different subjects within lessons is a key priority of mine.
In my spare time, I love to play football, am an avid Chelsea fan and play competitively as a goalkeeper. I am a very sociable person, who thoroughly enjoys everything Dubai has to offer. From quad biking in the desert to skydiving over the Palm, I am up for any challenge.
I am now entering my eleventh year as a Primary School teacher – my fourth as part of the Safa Community. After many years teaching in Year 5, I have now moved into Year 6! I started my career teaching in the London borough of Richmond for four years, before making the move to Dubai, where I have now taught for five years. My previous roles have been: PE coordinator, Science Leader and STEAM coordinator. My current role at Safa Community School is ‘Head of Curriculum Integration’. This role involves planning and coordinating many of the Safa events, as well as making sure the curriculum we teach is meaningful and full of fun learning opportunities. I cannot wait to start teaching your child and guiding them along their journey to becoming a lifelong learner.
