I joined Safa Community School in 2019 and I love everything that the school has to offer. I have had the opportunity to take on a range of roles during my time here, including Head of Year and am very much looking forward to teaching Year 3 and 4 Art for the second year. I am also part of the Learning and Teaching team as well as Primary Wellbeing.
I graduated from the University of South Wales, UK in 2014, where I was awarded a Postgraduate certificate in Primary Education. I have also obtained a BSc Hons Degree in Early Years Development and Education. I have lived in Dubai since 2014 and consider myself a very active, outdoors individual. I am also passionate about painting, drawing and sketching. I love to travel the world with my family and explore new cultures and have big adventures. I cannot wait to welcome you at SCS and help your child unlock their creative potential. In our lessons, children discover that there is no such thing as making mistakes in Art.
I have taught a range of age groups from FS1- KS2 since becoming an educator over 10 years go. This has allowed me to truly understand the milestones and development of children as they go through their learning journey in school. Since joining SCS in 2019 I was fortunate to have the opportunity to be Head of Year 3. During the 3 years at this role, I was able to develop my leadership skills and support others in how to create and provide stimulating and enriching lessons for pupils. As a creative educator I challenge my students to be independent and innovative learners. Through an enriching and creative curriculum I ensure that all students are provided with the highest quality of teaching and learning.
