My name is Aoife Killane, Head of Secondary Inclusion.
I am from Ireland, in Dubai for the past 4 years. I love swimming, basketball and yoga. I enjoying travelling and experiencing the world. Teaching is my passion, I believe inclusion should be at the core of every educational institution and student wellbeing is paramount, teaching students how to nurture their wellbeing should be a fundamental part of school life. I am dedicated to developing opportunities for every student to identify their strengths, overcome their barriers and enabling them to thrive as successful and happy members of society.
I have 12 years teaching experience. In 2010, I qualified from Dublin City University with a Bachelor of Education in Theology and English. I completed a Masters in Special Educational Needs in 2015. I am a life long learner and I constantly strive to learn at every opportunity whether that be from students, colleagues or as part of professional development.
