I am Anthony Marrow, I am 61 and I am really looking forward to working at Safa Community School
I was born in Hull, England a long time ago and studied Civil Engineering at Sheffield University before taking a PGCE in Physics and PE at Hull University. I worked in a large comprehensive school in Hull until emigrating with my wife to New Zealand in 1987. I have taught in several schools in NZ and was a HOD Science at Trident High School, Whakatane for 21 years before moving to WSO Dubai in 2019. My wife and I have identical twin boys who are both science teachers, they are both married in their 30’s. We have a daughter in her 20’s who is a Physiotherapist. We are very proud that our second granddaughter has recently been born. I am a keen sportsman and love rugby. Our move to Dubai has also allowed us to follow a passion for experiencing different cultures and trying new things.
I have years of experience in Physics and Science teaching in GCSE, A Level, IB and NCEA as well as experiences as a HOD and dean of various year levels.
