Hello everyone, I am excited to start a new school year and welcome everybody to FS1 AE. I cannot wait to see your wonderful happy faces and meet you all.
I come from a beautiful, wet and windy country called Wales. It has vast green mountains and is a very peaceful place to live. I have 3 dogs at home and I miss them very much when I am in Dubai. I moved to Dubai in 2015 when I joined Safa.
When I am not in school I enjoy going out with friends for coffee, keeping healthy in the gym, practicing mindfulness and going for walks.
I look forward to seeing you all very soon and starting our new adventure together.
I have been teaching FS1 at SCS since 2015. Previously, I was working in Wales where I had a Nursery class and a Year 1/2 split class. I graduated from The University of South Wales with a BA in Primary Education specialising in the Early Years Foundation Stage. I have a natural passion for Early Years and like to ensure the children have a classroom where they feel safe, nurtured and cared for. We all become a family throughout the year and a priority for me as a teacher is to make certain every child comes into my classroom with a smile.
