Pastoral care is a major strength of the school, and we pay particular attention to the transition being seamless and easy from primary into the secondary part of the school. Children who join from other schools usually say that they settle into our senior school life within a few days. Our caring ethos is based on mutual respect for one another and on appreciating individuality.
Safa Community School staff work closely with one another to ensure our students’ wellbeing and individual physical and emotional needs are supported in close liaison with parents. Our pastoral care team and understanding form staff are supported, when needed, by a school counsellor who is available for secondary pupils in a confidential forum.
Our PSHCE programme strongly reinforces our pastoral care provision and our open door policy further reinforces our desire to respond immediately to all and any needs our students may have.
Safa Community School is a very happy school where students feel nurtured and safe.
