It is important that our students understand what they have achieved and what they need to do to improve. We aim, therefore, to develop a culture that fosters independent learners who are confident to ask questions, who have high expectations of themselves and who are always seeking to improve.
Students at Safa Community School are highly supportive of one another, and collaborative work is commonplace. We use a range of base-line assessments that have been designed by the internationally renowned CEM Centre at Durham University, England.
All pupils are assessed every 6 weeks in the secondary department and their progress against our expectations is discussed, with individual targets set.
